37.DEV is committed to ensuring that our website (37dev.com) is accessible to all visitors, including those who use assistive technologies. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA.

What we've done

Visual design

The site uses a dark theme: our primary text color (#f2efe6) against the page background (#0a0b0d) achieves a contrast ratio of roughly 17:1, well above the WCAG AA minimum of 4.5:1. Interactive elements, including buttons and links, meet or exceed contrast requirements in both their default and hover states.

Keyboard navigation

The site supports full keyboard navigation. All interactive elements, including navigation links, form fields, buttons, and modal dialogs, are reachable and operable via keyboard alone. Focus indicators are visible throughout.

Semantic structure

Pages use semantic HTML5 elements and ARIA landmarks to support screen readers and other assistive technologies. Headings follow a logical hierarchy on every page.

Forms

All form inputs have associated labels. Required fields are clearly indicated. Error messages are surfaced in a way that assistive technologies can announce.

Responsive layout

The site is fully responsive and functions across all viewport sizes. Text can be enlarged up to 200% without loss of content or functionality.

Reduced motion

All animation on the site honors prefers-reduced-motion: reduce: scroll reveals, animated product demos, and auto-advancing sections are disabled or shown in their final state, and content is always visible immediately. No content is ever gated on animation or JavaScript.

Images

Meaningful images include descriptive alt text. Decorative elements are hidden from assistive technologies using appropriate ARIA attributes.

Known limitations

We are aware of the following areas that may present accessibility challenges:

• Chat assistant: Our AI chat assistant streams its replies as it writes them. We are continuing to refine how in-progress replies are announced to screen readers.
• Embedded calculator: The interactive calculator uses range sliders and dynamic chart output. We are working to improve the accessibility of these elements.
